OBJECTIVE of MUSIC MAP (Est. August
2007; just over 3100 Subscribers),
initiated by Wim Mutsaerts, a long
retired Dutch Textile Engineer, as a hobby, to circulate all genres of
Music, mainly in KZN.
His
intention
was to plough something back
into the
SA Community, which has been so
good to him for over 45 years. Together with the help of his son René,
the final style and layout was created. He feels that MusicMap is now
special and unique. It is the only medium, known to him, which
lists Music
Events
in such compact manner, covering
Classical Music to Jazz, to
Gregorian Chant, to Organ Music, to Gospel Singing, to Carnatic, to
Negro Spirituals, to Musicals, to Operas,
in one Newsletter per week (re-written every Wednesday night),
for no personal,
financial gain.
However, he needs more Subscribers.
The more Subscribers, the more paying Advertisers will support
MusicMap. If
each Reader were to encourage five new persons
to subscribe, he may not
have to appeal for funds,
to cover his basic costs and thus to continue.
He is grateful for the help of
his faithful Music Shopkeepers and
other advertisers (teachers, tuners and restorers) who help him with
their paid adverts. Many will follow........
